Little Red Riding Hood sets off to visit her grandmother, carrying a basket of treats. Along the way, she encounters the Big Bad Wolf in the forest. The Wolf races ahead to the grandmother's house, locks up grandmother, and disguises himself to fool Little Red Riding Hood. Fortunately, a brave Woodcutter hears the commotion, rushes in, and rescues both Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother from the Wolf.

Once upon a time, there was a sweet little girl who always wore a red riding hood made by her grandmother. Everyone called her Little Red Riding Hood. One morning, her mother packed a basket with cake and wine for her sick grandmother. “Stay on the path and don’t talk to strangers,” her mother warned. Little Red Riding Hood promised to be careful and started her journey through the forest.

As she walked through the woods, picking flowers along the way, a large grey wolf appeared. “Where are you going, little girl?” the wolf asked in a gentle voice. Not knowing that wolves could be dangerous, she replied, “To my grandmother’s house. She’s sick in bed.” The wolf smiled, showing his sharp teeth. “Which way is her house?” Little Red Riding Hood pointed down the path. “Just past the three oak trees.”

The wolf ran ahead and tricked his way into grandmother’s house. When Little Red Riding Hood arrived, she found something strange about her grandmother. “Grandmother, what big ears you have!” she said. “The better to hear you with,” replied the wolf. “What big eyes you have!” “The better to see you with.” “What big teeth you have!” “The better to eat you with!” suddenly shouted the wolf, jumping out of bed.

Just then, a brave woodcutter who heard the commotion burst through the door. He rescued Little Red Riding Hood and found grandmother in the closet where the wolf had hidden her. The woodcutter drove the wolf away, and grandmother was safe. From that day on, Little Red Riding Hood always remembered her mother’s warning about talking to strangers, and she lived happily ever after with her mother and grandmother.
