A mother and son arrive excitedly at the park entrance to feed pigeons. Mother teaches Tommy how to properly feed the pigeons in the plaza. Surprising moment as pigeons surround an excited Tommy. Mother and son share a peaceful moment after feeding the pigeons.

Tommy bounced excitedly at the park entrance, his red backpack jumping with each hop. “Mommy, mommy! Are we really going to feed the pigeons?” His mother smiled, adjusting her sun hat as she held two paper bags.
“Yes, sweetheart. But remember what we talked about – we need to be gentle with the birds,” she replied, pulling out a handful of breadcrumbs to show him. Tommy peered into the bag, his eyes widening with wonder. The morning sun cast long shadows through the park gates, where they could see pigeons already gathering in the distance.

In the plaza, Tommy’s mother demonstrated how to throw the breadcrumbs. “Watch, honey – like this,” she said, tossing a few crumbs gently on the ground. Tommy tried to copy her, but his first throw sent the crumbs flying everywhere, making him giggle.
“Oops!” he laughed, as a few pigeons waddled closer, curious about the scattered food. “Look, Mommy! They’re coming!” Tommy tried again, this time throwing more carefully. The pigeons bobbed their heads as they pecked at the crumbs, making funny cooing sounds that made Tommy laugh even harder.

Suddenly, more pigeons noticed their breakfast party. They came flying in from all directions, their wings making soft flapping sounds. “Wow!” Tommy exclaimed, throwing his arms up in surprise as the birds surrounded them. His mother couldn’t help but laugh at his amazement.
The pigeons created quite a show, some landing right at their feet, others circling around them. “They’re dancing!” Tommy shouted with delight. One particularly brave pigeon came so close that Tommy could see its feathers shimmer in the sunlight.

As the last of the breadcrumbs disappeared, Tommy and his mother sat on a nearby bench, watching the remaining pigeons waddle around. “That was so much fun, Mommy,” Tommy said, leaning against her side. His mother wrapped her arm around him, enjoying the peaceful moment.
“You know what, Tommy? I think the pigeons really liked having breakfast with you,” she said softly. Tommy yawned, tired but happy from all the excitement. “Can we come back tomorrow?” he asked hopefully. His mother smiled, “Of course we can, my little bird feeder.”
